When we decided to renovate our home, we interviewed several renovation companies in an attempt to find someone who could provide design ideas that would work for us, and look after our best interests. We discovered that there can be a huge difference not only in price, but in the relationship between the customer and the renovator. After careful consideration, we decided to go with Collaborations With Dana. It was obvious to us that we weren’t going to be treated like “just another customer”. Dana provided us with a personal touch that we were looking for in a renovator. Someone who would listen to our needs and wants, and could relate to our family situation.

Working With Dana was indeed a collaborative effort – we started with coffee and discussed what we were trying to achieve. Dana listened to our requirements and provided feedback and creative ideas that we never thought of and there was never any pressure during our discussions. The best part was being able to see our ideas on paper through 3-D renderings that Dana had created. The drawings gave us a very good idea as to what the end result would look like and let us explore some of the “what if” scenarios. Changes to walls, window placement, and the location of our kitchen island were easy to modify on the drawings, and made us more comfortable with the huge changes about to take place to our home.

Once we agreed on a plan, the construction began and Dana and team were very supportive in reducing as much stress to us during the time we were out of our home.

The renovation team were professional, courteous and we were happy to know that Dana works with the same contractors on her projects.

Most of our friends were amazed that we were back in our home when promised, on budget, and even more impressed when they saw the end result.
